In Old Testament studies, enthronement festival refers to Mowinckel's proposed autumn festival in which Yahweh's kingship was celebrated, which he took as the setting of the enthronement psalms. This meaning comes from Mowinckel (1951/1962) in The Psalms in Israel's Worship.[1]
