One name. One construct. A landmark on the map.
● anchor · a standalone construct Nearest construct by meaningchambercompare the meaningsEvery construct on the map is compared with every other by the meaning of its definitions, and the closest one is surfaced here. The nearest construct to assembly is chamber.
Hold this as a prompt, not a verdict. Two constructs sitting close in meaning is a reason to read them side by side and decide for yourself whether they are one idea under two names. It is not proof that they are. Compare the meanings in the Collider.
A single standalone construct; nearby constructs are located against it in the Collider. Tap a field for its definition, unit, and measures.
In chemistry and nanoscience, self-assembly is the spontaneous organization of molecules or particles into ordered structures without external direction, driven by weak, non-covalent interactions such as hydrogen bonds and van der Waals forces that let the components settle into a stable arrangement on their own. Whitesides and Grzybowski's 2002 Self-Assembly at All Scales set out the principle and its reach from single molecules to larger objects. The referent is a physical process of ordering that emerges from local interactions, described by the structures it forms, not a factory line, a lawmaking chamber, or written program code.[1]
