In peace and conflict studies, conflict triangle refers to a model of conflict as three linked parts: the attitudes of the parties, their behaviour, and the underlying contradiction or incompatible goals. This meaning comes from Galtung (1996) in Peace by Peaceful Means: Peace and Conflict, Development and Civilization.[1]
