What this is

ConstructCollision is a map of research constructs, each tied to the paper or book that defined it. The site is in beta, and it may have errors.

A compass, not a judge

"Close" on the map means close in meaning, not proof that two measures behave the same in data. Nothing here is professional, legal, medical or financial advice. Read the sources, and test on your own sample, before you rely on anything you find here.

Your account

Sign up with a work or school email that is yours, keep your password private, and do not share your account. We may suspend an account that misuses the site.

What you make

Models you save stay yours. If you share a link to one, anyone with the link can view it.

Using what is here

You may read, link to and cite any page, and quote short parts with a link back. Please do not copy the map in bulk, scrape it, or use it to build another database or to train models without our written permission. The papers and books the map cites belong to their authors and publishers.

Using the tools fairly

No automated querying, no attempts to break or overload the site, and no getting around the sign-in.

Claims and reports

When you claim a construct or report an error, tell us the truth. We review claims by hand, and we may decline one.

No warranty

The site is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses that come from using it.
