In power systems, tie-line bias control refers to load-frequency control in which each area corrects a combination of its tie-line flow deviation and frequency deviation weighted by a bias. This meaning comes from Cohn (1956) in Transactions of the American Institute of Electrical Engineers. Part III: Power Apparatus and Systems.[1]
